The four tea gardens owned by BOH are &#8211; the first one in Habu, Fairlie Tea Garden, Sungai Palas Tea Garden, and Bukit Cheeding in Selangor. The Cameron Highlands with its cool and wet climate is ideal for tea plantations. The tea fields provide a lovely and refreshing visual treat with acres and acres of lush green hills. The factory acquaints you with the different tea-making processes. You can see the packaging of different varieties here. Go tea tasting their different teas and purchase some unique blends. But that\u2019s not all. There are other attractions near here, like the Big Red Strawberry Farm, the Sam Poh Temple, Cactus Valley, Ee Feng Gu Bee Farm, etc.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Sungei_Palas_Estate\"><\/span><strong>Sungei Palas Estate:<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>This lush tea plantation is owned by BOH. There is a visitor centre and a cafe at this estate. An iconic 20-foot overhanging balcony and viewing deck have made Sungei Palas Tea Garden a tourist destination in the Cameron Highlands. Go and enjoy the tea factory tour, try the cakes and BOH teas at the caf\u00e9, and purchase different kinds of tea. Visit the exhibition to learn more about the history of the plantation.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bharat_Tea_Plantation\"><\/span><strong>Bharat Tea Plantation:<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>This is one of the most beautiful tea plantations that you will ever see. Visit the Bharat Plantation Tea shop to admire the magnificent view of this tea estate while you sample their tea and scones. The Bharat Tea Plantation of the Bharat Group of Companies is the second largest tea producer in Malaysia and a favoured and important supplier of bulk tea to major tea blenders. They also have their own brand &#8211; the Cameron Valley. You can learn about the history of the company and the tea process through their audio-visual presentation. Take plenty of pictures as you stroll through the plantation and visit the waterfall. Go on a safari ride around the hills and take in the view from the observation platform on the peak of the hill. Create memories and store them through photos.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Gaharu_Tea_Valley\"><\/span><strong>Gaharu Tea Valley:<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>This is an agro-tourism tea plantation in Gopeng, Kampar District, Perak, Malaysia. The plantation is surrounded by a high wall that resembles the Great Wall of China. These Gaharu farms are famous as they are organic farms of the Gaharu trees. These trees (Agarwood trees) are highly prized for their exotic fragrance as well as their medicinal and health-giving properties. Gaharu tea is claimed to reduce blood sugar levels, blood pressure, gout, asthma, etc. You can take a tour of this plantation. Hug a Gaharu tree to wish for better health. Go to the top of the hill to admire the beauteous view. The swiftlet farm too is worth a visit. Sample the Gaharu tea and buy souvenirs for your friends and family back home.<\/p>\n<p>While visiting the plantations, go as early in the morning as possible, before the day gets hotter. It is also better to avoid weekends and holidays, as you can expect a crowd. The best time to see the tea plantations in the Cameron Highlands is during the monsoon season.
